Nits and cd/m²: Nits and candelas per square meter (cd/m²) measure the amount of light emitted by a display, quantifying its brightness. Higher nits or cd/m² values indicate brighter displays, which are crucial for image visibility in various conditions. These units play a significant role in showing vibrant colors and sharp contrasts.

Lumens: Lumens, on the other hand, measure the total amount of visible light emitted by a light source or reflected off a surface. While nits and cd/m² focus on the light emitted from the display surface, lumens encompass the overall light output of the source, including factors like the devices efficiency and optics. Visibility: In varying lighting conditions, a display's brightness determines how easily content can be seen. A high nits or cd/m² value ensures content remains visible even in brightly lit spaces.

Contrast and Detail: Brightness affects contrast ratios, enhancing the distinction between light and dark areas on the screen. Higher brightness levels enable better visibility of intricate details, ensuring that content appears crisp and vibrant.

Choosing the Right Brightness Level
